At Palm Portraits, we believe that summer is a state of mind—and nothing says “endless summer” quite like our new surf-themed studio session! We kicked things off with a totally tubular shoot featuring the adorable Ella, and we’re still riding the high from all the fun and laughter that filled the studio.
From the moment Ella walked in, we knew this session would be a wave of sunshine. Dressed in her adorable bathing suit and retro sunglasses, she brought all the bright, beachy energy we dreamed of. With beach balls, surf signs, and pinwheels galore, Ella had a blast interacting with the set—and that’s what made the magic happen. These sessions are designed to be interactive and silly, so the smiles we capture are 100% real.
What made this session even more special? Big sister Clair was there cheering her on and helping behind the scenes. Clair, now in high school, played the perfect role of sidekick and posing coach, helping Ella feel totally relaxed in front of the camera. Having photographed this wonderful family before, it’s such a joy to see how the girls have grown and to continue being part of their story.
